Made with Kāpiti Vanilla Ice Cream
Like our Vanilla Ice cream, which is anything but Vanilla, our Vanilla Explosion Milkshake will blow your mind. It’s like taking a flavour trip round the U. S of Awesome!
- 2 Scoops of Kāpiti Vanilla Ice Cream
- 10oz Kāpiti Homogenised Organic Milk
- 20ml of Gusto’s Tart Apple syrup
- 1 slice of caramalised streaky bacon
- Handful of pistachios
- 3-4 large marshmallows
- 3 tsp pumpkin powder
For the toppings, fry streaky bacon in a medium heat frying pan until crispy, remove from the pan and shred into finer strips once cooled. In a small bowl, toss the marshmallows in pumpkin powder and put aside. Next roughly chop pistachios and mix into 15ml of apple syrup in a small jug.
Combine the Kāpiti Vanilla Ice Cream and Kāpiti Homogenised Organic Milk into a blender and blitz until smooth. Use the remaining 5ml of apple syrup to line the inside of the glass, before pouring in the vanilla shake.
Finally top with pumpkin marshmallows, streaky bacon and drizzle the 15 ml of apple and pistachio syrup before devouring.
