Our Kāpiti Kahotea Extra Creamy Brie is silky smooth and ultra creamy. With a sophisticated and rich taste, and a soft and extra creamy body. While most immediately think of wine when it comes to cheese pairings, for something a little different, our Master Cheesemaker, Cathy Lang, recommends a pilsner beer. “It’s a more delicate yet crisp beer which matches the delicate flavour notes of this creamy Brie along with the carbonation helping to lift from the palette and help enhance the flavour.”
Best Served At
Serve at room temperature to allow the cheese’s full flavour, aroma and texture to bloom. Remove the cheese from the fridge, place on the platter or board, then cover with a clean damp cloth an hour before serving.

After it’s been opened, re-wrap in cling film or aluminium foil and then place in an airtight container to prevent cross-contamination and drying out.
