Our award-winning Kāpiti Kahurangi Creamy Blue is delightfully smooth and creamy with delicate blue veining. It has a rich texture with subtle blue flavour and delightful salty tang to finish. Kahurangi means blue or precious in Te Reo Māori, a perfect descriptor for this divine cheese. Just like our other blues, Kahurangi is made by hand and is known around these parts as the People's Blue, having won the New World Cheese Lovers’ Choice Award 5 years in a row.

Best Served At
Serve at room temperature to allow the cheese’s full flavour, aroma and texture to bloom. Remove the cheese from the fridge, place on the platter or board, then cover with a clean damp cloth an hour before serving.

After it’s been opened, re-wrap in cling film or aluminium foil and then place in an airtight container to prevent cross-contamination and drying out.
