PAKARI BLACKCURRANT AGED CHEDDAR

In te reo Māori, Pakari speaks of maturity and strength - qualities shared by this cheese. Our Kāpiti Pakari Blackcurrant Aged Cheddar is a delicious blend of sweet and savoury. This tangy cheddar is aged for up to 2 years before being steeped in New Zealand blackcurrant for a hint of sweetness. Beautifully sealed in red wax, the contrast is divine.

Best Served
Serve at room temperature to allow the cheese’s full flavour, aroma and texture to bloom. Remove the cheese from the fridge, place on the platter or board, then cover with a clean damp cloth an hour before serving.
Best Stored at 4 °
After it’s been opened, re-wrap in cling film or aluminium foil and then place in an airtight container to prevent cross-contamination and drying out.
