PAKARI AGED CHEDDAR

Our Kāpiti Pakari Aged Cheddar is carefully aged for up to 2 years, giving it a firm, brittle body and a sharp and tangy bite. In te reo Māori, Pakari speaks of maturity and strength - qualities shared this cheese. This Aged Cheddar is well-matched with a good Malborough Pinot Noir as the light fruitiness of the wine balances out the tanginess of the cheddar.

Best Served At
Serve at room temperature to allow the cheese’s full flavour, aroma and texture to bloom. Remove the cheese from the fridge, place on the platter or board, then cover with a clean damp cloth an hour before serving.
Best Stored at 4 °
After it’s been opened, re-wrap in cling film or aluminium foil and then place in an airtight container to prevent cross-contamination and drying out.
