Kapiti Awa Blue is our strongest blue and has a sharp, salty, blue flavour enhanced by a little less cream to deliver a bold punch. Just like as water meets land, streams of blue and green course through a moist and crumbly body.
Pair our Awa Blue with freeze dried pineapple for a delightful combination of sweet and tang.
Best Served At
Serve at room temperature to allow the cheese’s full flavour, aroma and texture to bloom. Remove the cheese from the fridge, place on the platter or board, then cover with a clean damp cloth an hour before serving.
Best Stored at 4 °
After it’s been opened, re-wrap in cling film or aluminium foil and then place in an airtight container to prevent cross-contamination and drying out.
